ORGANIZE YOUR CHANNELS

Social Media Channel Groups for Every Brand You Run

Social media channel groups bundle the accounts you always post to together, so one pick in the composer fills them all. RepeatPost is the AI social media management platform that lets you sort accounts by brand, client, project or campaign, then post to the whole set from web or mobile. Groups come with every plan, with no cap on how many you make, and one account can sit in as many groups as you need.

How channel groups work across RepeatPost

One account, many groups

Your bakery's Instagram can sit in a Launch Week group and a Daily Posts group at once. Change who's in one group and the other stays exactly as it was.

Post to a group by name

Tell the AI Agent to post to Project Phoenix and it loads every channel in that group, then waits for your confirmation before anything goes out.

Filter the calendar by group

Switch the content calendar to one group and see only that client's week, without three other brands' posts crowding the view.

Post to Multiple Accounts at Once

Choosing a channel group in Create Post selects every account in it at the same moment. Without one, a café's weekly promo going to Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads and YouTube means five separate taps, and the account you forget is the one the owner checks. With a group, open Select channel group, pick the café, and all five light up. Write the caption, polish it with the AI Assistant, set the date and hit Schedule. The same groups work in bulk scheduling and CSV uploads, so a month of posts lands on the right accounts too.

Manage Multiple Brands Without Mixing Them Up

Give each brand, client or project its own channel group and its accounts stop blurring into one long list. An agency might keep Evergreen Co. on five channels, Nimble Tech on two, Lumen Studio on four and Ridge & Co. on three, each a named card with its own icons. Everyone in the workspace sees the same groups, so a new teammate picks Lumen Studio instead of guessing whose LinkedIn page is whose. Need a firmer wall, with separate calendars and permissions? Put each client in its own workspace and use groups inside it for campaigns.

Add or Drop Channels for a Single Post

Picking a group gives you a starting selection, and you can still change it post by post. Tap any avatar to unselect that account, or add one from outside the group, for this post only. Say your spring campaign group covers 11 accounts but the TikTok clip isn't ready: unselect TikTok, keep the other ten, and schedule. The group itself doesn't change, so next time it loads all 11 again. Each selected account gets its own panel in the composer, so you can adjust wording per channel and check it in the live post preview first.

Edit Your Channel Groups as Your Accounts Change

To make a channel group, open Add New Channel Group, tick the accounts you want and give it a name. From the group list you can rename a group, add an account you've just connected from the 16 supported channels, or remove one a client no longer uses. None of this touches the connection itself. Take Velora's X profile out of a group and it stays connected to RepeatPost and stays in every other group it belongs to. Deleting a whole group works the same way, so a rebrand or a lost client never means reconnecting anything.

Tools that work alongside channel groups

Channel groups decide where a post goes. These six features cover who drafts it, who signs off, when it runs and what goes in it, so a set of accounts becomes a schedule your team can run every week.

How teams picture using RepeatPost

“Honestly, the calendar is what sold me. I could see every channel in one view and spot the week we'd gone quiet. Before this I was juggling three spreadsheets and a Slack thread. Now I plan the month on a Monday morning and I'm done by half ten.”

“We run social for eleven clients and keeping them separate used to be a genuine anxiety of mine. Workspaces fixed that. Each client sits in their own space, approvals route to the right person, and I've stopped worrying that someone's going to push a dental practice promo to a restaurant account at 6am.”

Marcus Reed

“I batch a fortnight of content on a Sunday arvo and then I don't think about it again. Reckon it's saved me a solid day a week. Only gripe is the mobile app still feels a step behind the web version, so I do the actual planning on my laptop. Everything else is spot on.”

“I'm handling social for four small brands and writing captions was eating my whole morning. The AI drafts are actually quite usable now. I still rewrite maybe every third one to sound like the client, but starting from something beats staring at a blank box. The hashtag tool alone I'm using daily.”

Ananya Raghavan

“I sell fabrics and my customers find me on Instagram mostly. Posting used to be whenever I remembered, which was maybe twice a week. Now I sit down every Sunday evening, load up two weeks, and it goes out on its own. Sales have followed. I'd like to see WhatsApp added properly, that's my one ask.”

Chidinma Eze

“Our team is five people and we were losing posts in Slack threads. Someone would approve something, someone else would tweak it, and nobody knew which version went live. The approval flow sorted that in a week. Fair play, it's the least glamorous feature on the site and it's the one I'd miss most.”

Frequently Asked
Questions

A channel group is a saved set of social accounts you post to together, such as every account for one client or one campaign. Pick the group in Create Post and all its accounts are selected at once. You can still add or remove single channels for that post, and everyone in the workspace shares the same groups.

A workspace walls off a whole client, with its own connected accounts, calendar, drafts, team members and permissions. A channel group lives inside a workspace and only decides which of its accounts a post goes to. Agencies usually make one workspace per client, then channel groups inside it for campaigns, regions or product lines.

Yes. One account can sit in as many channel groups as you like. A brand's Instagram might belong to an Everyday Posts group and a Holiday Sale group at the same time. Changing who's in one group never affects the other, and the account stays connected to RepeatPost the whole time.

Yes. Channel groups come with every RepeatPost plan, Free included, and there's no cap on how many groups you create. What changes between plans is how many channels you can connect and how many people can work in the account, so check the pricing page for those limits before you set up a big client roster.

Almost everywhere you choose accounts. Tell the AI Agent to post to a group by name, target a group in bulk scheduling and CSV uploads, filter the content calendar to one group, or assign a brand voice to a group. Your groups also appear in the iOS and Android apps, ready on your phone.

No. Deleting a channel group, or taking an account out of one, only changes the group. Every account stays connected to RepeatPost and keeps its place in any other group it belongs to. To disconnect an account completely, you remove it from your connected channels instead, which is a separate step.
