How to get the most out of these tools

What is in the RepeatPost free tool library?

RepeatPost is the AI social media management platform behind these tools, and the library is 128 free utilities covering the small jobs that sit between having an idea and publishing it. They fall into three broad groups. Generators write something for you: captions, bios, hashtags, titles, usernames, scripts and full posts, each tuned to one platform’s limits. Utilities transform something you already have: the UTM builder, the character counter, the line breaker, the paraphraser, the screenshot tools. Planners and previews show you what a post will look like before it goes out. None of them need an account, and nothing they produce is watermarked or restricted.

How to pick the right tool

Most people arrive looking for a platform name when what they actually need is a job. Start from the job and the choice gets obvious.

  • You know what to say but not how to phrase it. Use the caption generator for the platform you are posting to, since each one writes against a different character limit and a different truncation point.
  • You have an image and no idea what to write. Use an image caption generator instead, which reads the picture rather than a description you type.
  • You need to be found, not just read. Hashtag generators and keyword tools work on discovery. Caption tools work on the words themselves.
  • You are setting up or refreshing a profile. Bio generators and username generators handle the parts of an account you write once and then live with for years.
  • You want to check something before you publish. Post previews and the feed planner show the crop, the truncation and the spacing while you can still change them.
  • You need the file, not the words. Video downloaders and the screenshot tools deal in media rather than copy.

Getting better output from the AI generators

The generators respond to how much you give them. These habits make the difference between output you post and output you delete.

  • Be specific in the prompt. "Handmade winter candles, first batch of the season" produces something usable. "Candles" produces filler that could belong to anyone.
  • Name the audience. Writing for first time buyers and writing for repeat customers are different jobs, and the generator cannot guess which one you are doing.
  • Generate several options rather than one. Reading three drafts side by side makes it obvious which opening line is carrying the post.
  • Always rewrite the first line. It is the part that decides whether anyone reads the rest, and it is the part that most needs to sound like you rather than like a tool.
  • Match the tool to the platform. A caption that works on LinkedIn will read as stiff on TikTok, which is why there is a separate generator per platform rather than one generic one.

Free tools compared with the full platform

The tools solve one task at a time and forget you afterwards. RepeatPost itself handles the loop from idea to published post to results. This is the honest split.

The tools are not a trial or a teaser. They work in full without an account and will stay that way.

What these tools will not do

They do not save anything. Close the tab and the output is gone, because there is no account to store it against. They do not publish for you either: every generator ends at a copy button, and getting the post onto a platform is still your job unless you use the publishing tools. They cannot see your analytics, so nothing here knows what worked for you last month. And they will not replace judgment about what is true. Anything involving a claim about your product, a price, a date or a piece of news should be written or at minimum checked by you, because a sentence that sounds right and is slightly wrong causes more damage than a blank field ever did.

How teams picture using RepeatPost

“Honestly, the calendar is what sold me. I could see every channel in one view and spot the week we'd gone quiet. Before this I was juggling three spreadsheets and a Slack thread. Now I plan the month on a Monday morning and I'm done by half ten.”

Hannah Whitfield

“We run social for eleven clients and keeping them separate used to be a genuine anxiety of mine. Workspaces fixed that. Each client sits in their own space, approvals route to the right person, and I've stopped worrying that someone's going to push a dental practice promo to a restaurant account at 6am.”

Marcus Reed

Agency Owner

United StatesJun 29, 2026
“I batch a fortnight of content on a Sunday arvo and then I don't think about it again. Reckon it's saved me a solid day a week. Only gripe is the mobile app still feels a step behind the web version, so I do the actual planning on my laptop. Everything else is spot on.”

Chloe Baxter

“I'm handling social for four small brands and writing captions was eating my whole morning. The AI drafts are actually quite usable now. I still rewrite maybe every third one to sound like the client, but starting from something beats staring at a blank box. The hashtag tool alone I'm using daily.”

Ananya Raghavan

Freelance Social Media Manager

“I sell fabrics and my customers find me on Instagram mostly. Posting used to be whenever I remembered, which was maybe twice a week. Now I sit down every Sunday evening, load up two weeks, and it goes out on its own. Sales have followed. I'd like to see WhatsApp added properly, that's my one ask.”

Chidinma Eze

“Our team is five people and we were losing posts in Slack threads. Someone would approve something, someone else would tweak it, and nobody knew which version went live. The approval flow sorted that in a week. Fair play, it's the least glamorous feature on the site and it's the one I'd miss most.”

Frequently Asked
Questions

Yes. Every tool on this page works in full with no account, no card and no watermark, and there is a daily generation limit on the AI tools that resets each day. They are not a trial for the paid product. We built them because they are useful whether or not you ever open a RepeatPost account.

No. Open a tool, enter your input, get your result. The trade off is that nothing is saved: close the tab and the output is gone, because there is no account to store it against. If you want your work kept, scheduled and published, that is what a RepeatPost account adds.

Yes. There are no licensing restrictions on anything the tools produce, so client work, paid ads and commercial campaigns are all fine. You own what you generate. The one thing to check separately is music rights on downloaded video, which do not travel with the file.

Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and Telegram. Each has its own generator rather than a shared one, because the character limits, hashtag conventions and truncation points differ enough that a single generic tool would serve all of them badly.

Because the constraints genuinely differ. A Bluesky post is capped at 300 graphemes, X gives 280 characters on a free account, LinkedIn allows 3,000 but folds after roughly 210. A caption written against the wrong limit either gets truncated badly or wastes the space it had.

Treat them as a strong first draft, not a finished post. The output is tuned on how content performs per platform, so the structure is usually right, but the voice needs you. Most people regenerate a couple of times, then rewrite the opening line before posting.

No. The link is used to fetch the file and nothing is retained afterwards. There is no account, so there is no download history attached to you. The downloaders only reach publicly viewable videos, so private and age restricted content will not resolve.

It depends on the tool. The pure utilities such as the UTM builder and the character counter run entirely in your browser, so nothing you type leaves your device. The AI generators send your prompt to our API to produce a result, which is unavoidable for that kind of tool.
